I’ve never understood guns. Every few weeks/days gun control becomes a hot issue after a shooting and I am left wondering how someone can argue that gun control is useless. The fact is, people want guns. It’s something that many Americans can’t get their heads around. Why does someone need so many guns? I may have found the answer. As a kid, if someone told me I couldn’t have a toy because some dumb 3rd grader in Minnesota choked on a loose piece I immediately called BS. People find guns cool and fun to play with. I helped make a guide for people who don’t understand guns. By easily comparing them to Star Wars action figures. I hope I can help people understand that some people just like toys. And it’s hard to take someone’s toys away, even if someone else was killed by them.
This first set of toys are the ones everybody has. You gotta have them! They may be a little boring and predictable, but they’re the core of any play set.
The reason everybody likes Boba Fett is because he has the most bitchin’ toy of any other character. Everybody may have one, so you’re not some distinguished collector, but yours somehow feels more personal.
These next two aren’t the hardest to find for any advocate, but both makes one feel special. First step into feeling more serious as a collector, but still having fun with your toys.
In the store these looked SO COOL! As soon as you got it open and started playing with it, disappointment settled in. Still looks cool tho!
This is you saying I’m a collector. This is the toy your dad used to play with (in some cases, the exact one). Gives your modest collection some gravitas.Had to save up for this one. Totally fun to play with. Both for the toy-player and serious collector.
Your best friend had one of these, and it was the coolest most-bitchin’ thing EVER!!!! Sadly, your parents (or wife) won’t get you one unless it’s the ONLY thing you get for Christmas.
Speaking of friends, this next one your friend’s friend’s cousin knows a guy who owns this. You’ve seen it once, maybe on display at a toy store, and was mesmerized. Can’t really see yourself spending the money, though.
This final one was owned because your friend’s lame step dad bought it for him to try and “connect.” Big and fancy looking, but never really played with.
